Newsroom

New articles & news.

A place to publish beyond the article archive: new long-form pieces and timely commentary. Every item is dated, carries its sources, and passes the same verification gate before it goes live — settled stated plainly, contested labeled and shown.

The standard

News held to the same rigor as the archive.

This page exists to publish beyond the 119-article library: new long-form work and timely commentary on the questions facing Black America. Nothing reaches it loosely. Every piece is dated, carries its sources, and passes the same three-step gate as the archive — sourced to real primary records, re-checked against the newest data releases, and approved only once every claim can be traced. We never invent a figure; where a number is not yet confirmed, it is marked data pending rather than guessed.

Where the evidence is lopsided, we state it plainly as settled. Where serious researchers genuinely disagree, we label it contested and show the disagreement honestly. To follow the work, bookmark this page and check the full library — new pieces land here first.

How a story reaches this page

1

Sourced

Every claim attached to a real, citable source. Surprising claims run the myth-screen.

2

Gated

Claims re-checked, statistics refreshed against newer releases, dead links repaired, contested claims flagged.

3

Approved

Only sourced, gated work is published. Every piece carries its citations so any reader can check it.
